Favorite Fall Styling in September

This month has been a doozy (I'm certain I'm dating myself by using that word, but whatever). Although I didn't have very many evenings out, and spent quite a few work days in my home office #WFH, I still managed to get dressed most days and even worked in the actual office about 1/3 of the time. I enjoyed bringing out my fall cardigans and booties, and getting to use some of my purchases from the Nordstrom Sale was exciting!

Here are my favorite looks from this month. Everything is linked in my liketoknow.it page for reference!

These camo feaux leather leggings from Spanx really suck you in, in all the right places and this cute graphic t from the JenReedxAbercrombie collection is so cute!

This cardigan from last year's anniversary sale is perfect for transitioning to fall (especially here in Texas where the weather will change on a dime!) I paired it with these extremely comfortable mules from Steve Madden (part of this year's Nordstrom sale). Just a perfectly cozy and easy "uniform" for a fall day.

My leopard cardigan from last year's Nordstrom Sale makes a few appearances all fall/winter long. I typically pair it with a silk camisole so it doesn't look to "heavy" on top, and with these new Abercrombie black high rise denim, make the perfect outfit for heading into the office.

Another great piece from this year's Nordy sale, is this Free People button up tunic. I love how soft it is, and so easy to wear with skinny jeans or leggings. I am also loving my Marc Fisher suede booties from the sale as well. They are very comfortable and I have been known to wear them all day long without blinking an eye.

This top is an oldie but a goodie from my favorite online boutique, Vici. The puff sleeve is such a stand out this year and makes the rest of my upper body look slim (which is always nice!). I paired it with the same Abercrombie denim from the JenReedxAbercrombie collection and the Marc Fisher booties. This would also be cute with some black heels OR those Steve Madden mules.

And last but not least, this camo sweatshirt and Spanx feaux leather leggings. What a combo! If you don't own a pair of these leggings, you are TRULY missing out. They make you look amazing from all angles and they are actually very comfortable. I am pretty sure I could run a marathon in them (insert laughter - not because of the leggings, but because I'd never run a marathon...but I COULD do it in these leggings). I'm also wearing my very old Payless shoes that are also super comfortable and can be worn all day long. Of course this pair is not available, but so many similar options are available everywhere!

Next month we have some fun events planned, like a trip to Colorado, our favorite Pumpkin Patch adventure, and a staycation for our anniversary. I'm hopeful I can dress up and get some use out of my "fancy" clothes!

I will also be taking some fall family photos so I will try to put some good options for you here on my blog!

xoxo

Alyssa
